Surprise Trip Home!

A couple weeks ago we were lucky enough to get to go home. Josh's brother Jeremy and his wife Sarah moved to Singapore. Since we did not know when we would get a chance to see them again, we made a quick trip home to see them. It was so fun to be able to see everyone. Not many of our family members have seen Jr. since he was two months old, so everyone was so excited to see him.

We wanted to surprise everyone and not let them know we were coming, but Josh's family ended up all finding out. My family on the other hand had no idea. It was so fun to be able to surprise them all. When I walked into my Mom and Dad's house my Mom's face was priceless. Her jaw completely dropped, and you could tell she was so confused trying to figure out what was going on. It was a great surprise to be able to pull off.

Although our trip was way to short, we were so glad to be able to go and see everyone. Sorry to all those who we did not get a chance to see. We will be back for Christmas for a longer time and be able to see everyone then.

Josh Jr. absolutely loved playing with all his cousins. I can not wait until we move home because he is going to have so many playmates.

Jr's first Halloween!!

Getting ready to go trick-or-treating!

All ready to go in his cute turtle costume. He was such a trooper and did not even cry once with his hat on. I thought for sure he would try and take it off as soon as I put it on, but he happily kept in on the entire time!

We took Jr. to a couple houses to show him off to some friends. We only visited a few houses and he managed to get a ton of candy! I guess they all could not resist how cute he was in his costume!

We decided to let him try his first piece of candy. What the heck Halloween only comes once a year! He had some licorice and just loved it. At first he was just sucking on it with drool running down his face but before we knew it he had bit a huge piece off! I had to hurry and pull it out of his mouth before he choked on it. I already know he is going to be addicted to candy just like his dad!

Jr. with all his goods after trick-or-treating. To bad he didn't get to enjoy any of that good candy.

We have made it a tradition every year to make caramel apples. This year the baby got to join in on the fun. The entire time he was just trying to grab the sticky apple and put it up to his mouth. What a cute boy he is!

Our little family and Leu. (For those of you who have never met or even heard of Leu he rents our basement room. He is from China and is a research doctor at Josh's school. His wife and child are still in China so we try and include him in some of our activities from time to time. Oh and he makes some awesome chinese food too!)

Our friends Lyndsey and Jeremy.

We had a great Halloween and look forward to many more fun ones to come.

The Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch yesterday for Josh's class party. We had a lot of fun and had fun taking some cute pictures of Jr. Although he would not look or smile at the camera, we still managed to get some cute pictures of him. He loved looking around at everything going on and absolutely loved the hay ride. He stood up and held on to the side of the trailer the entire ride and looked out at everything. It was so cute.

After the pumpkin patch we dressed Jr. up in his Halloween costume and headed over to our ward Halloween party. I was planning on getting some pictures of him in his costume, but our camera died so we were unable to. So you will all have to stay posted until Halloween to see pictures of our cute little turtle!!

Congratulations Honey!

Josh took his first set of National Chiropractic Boards about six weeks ago. We have patiently been waiting for his results and woke up bright and early to find them out. Sadly, they were not posted before I had to leave for work, but Josh called me as soon as he saw they were posted and read the good news so we could both find out together! He passed his first set and has three more to go. Way to go honey. I did not have any doubts that he would pass. He is a little smarty pants! Who would have ever guessed!! HaHa!! I love you. He is now one step closer to becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic.

We are also excited because he is now half way done with school. We are officially on the down hill slope! It seems as if we just moved out to Texas and started school and now we are half way done. I am sure the rest of the time we are here in Texas will just fly on by.

Good job honey! I am so proud of you. You are amazing. I love you!

A day at the park!

We took Jr. to the park the other day and he loved it. He enjoyed the swings and going down the slides with his dad. He loves to be outdoors. If he is ever is getting a little grouchy for no specific reason I just take him outside and go for a walk and he calms right down. I know all the pictures pretty much look the same but I just love this little man and can't get enough of him!

My Little Cutie!

Isn't he just the cutest thing. He is so handsome and looks just like his daddy. He is going to be such a little stud muffin!

My wonderful babysitter took all these cute pictures. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful babysitter who takes such good care of my little one while I am at work. Not only does she do a wonderful job watching over my little one while I am gone, but she does a wonderful job taking pictures. If any of you are in need of a photographer she does a great job. She is just getting started so all of you students out there like us she does a great job for such a good price. Check her stuff out at www.amberleighphotography.blogspot.com. Thanks Amber for everything you do for my little family. We appreciate it so much. You are the best.

Florida- Chiro Games

Josh is on the Basketball team at Parker College. Every year they participate in the Chiro-games which is like a miniature olympics. It was held in Florida this year. Chiropractic schools from all over come to compete in the different sports. They had basketball, flag football, volleyball, softball, track, swimming, and more. Since he was going to be gone for a couple days and we have not had a vacation in who knows how long, I decided I would tag along and make it a little getaway! I was pretty much the only wife that tagged along this year, but it still was fun. Josh's team did very well and won the tournament, along with his school taking home the gold for winning the overall.

The Beach!!

While in Florida we were able to spend a little time at the beach. The weather was so nice, I wish that we would have had more time to relax by the water. The water was not cold at all, but there sure were some big waves. When I finally decided not to be chicken and get in the water I was not in there too long because the waves were taking me out. It was exhausting! The boys had a fun time jumping and playing in the water.

For all of those who know my husband you know he could not pass up a chance to get in his speedo! Man, he sure did surprise all his friends when they all turned around and saw him. What would I do without my husband to keep everyone entertained?!

We left the baby home with Josh's aunt Glenna and uncle Johnny. Were were so thankful that they were so willing to watch Jr. for the weekend. It was sad to be away from the baby for four days, but at the same time it was good for the two of us to be alone and have a little break for us. We sure missed the baby, but enjoyed are time together. Thanks Johhny and Glenna for babysitting. Your the best!
