Jr's first haircut!

We decided that Jr's hair was getting a little out of control! He had a little rat tail growing in the back along with a little swirl! The top was getting a little long so it was starting to thin out. We decided it was time for a little trim so Josh took the scissors and trimmers to it! Well what we wanted to be just a little trim ended up being a little more then that! I guess we learned its a little harder then expected to cut someones hair when there head is just moving every which way! I was actually pretty sad at first cause I loved his little mohawk, but It did turn out cute and it is fun to see the new blonde hair that was under the darker hair! Good thing hair grows right!?!

Other then not keeping still whiling Josh was trying to cut his hair he seemed to really enjoy it! He did not even cry or whine. He was actually smiling pretty much the whole time as you can see! Oh isn't he just the cutest little thing! I love him so much and do not know what I would do without him.

Visitors

Jeremy, sarah, and Daisy (their dog) came to visit for the past week. We had so much fun with them. We had such good weather while they were here, it was so nice. We went to the pool a couple times to try and soak up the sun. It was really sad that they are from Idaho and were a lot tanner than Josh and I. You would have thought they were the ones from Texas!

Sarah and Jeremy were kind enough to watch Joshua Jr. while we were at work and school. I think we had more of a vacation then they did. They were so much help. Joshua Jr. loved playing and spending time with his aunt Sarah and is sure going to go through withdrawls with her gone. I think Daisy is going to be happy to be back home and have all the attention for herself again!

We also went to the movies, went shopping, and did a lot of sitting around eating cupcakes and zingers!! I think we all gained at least five pounds this week from all the goodies we ate. Although we did not do much we had a great time. I hope they did as well so they will come visit again sometime! The week went way to fast and we are already lonely without you guys here.

If any of you out there would like to come visit Texas we would love to have the company!

Joshy playing with Daddy

Joshy loves to play with his Dad! I am always trying to get him to laugh and smile, but for some reason his dad has the magic touch. Josh will walk into the room and instantly be able to make Jr. laugh! I love when he laughs. I could be in the worst mood and he will start giggling and it cheers me right up! Jr. is such a happy and good baby. We love him so much. He is getting so big and it is amazing to see how much he is learning. He is getting better and better with his hands everyday. Last week he woke up a couple times during the night for atleast three nights in a row. I was getting so frustrated because he usually sleeps about eleven hours. We decided to try adding a little rice cereal into his bottle before he went to bed to give him a little substance and so far it has been a success. He is now back to his normal sleeping pattern which is going to bed around seven thirty and waking up around six thirty. I am so grateful that so far he has been a great sleeper and hope that it stays this way. On Sunday he rolled over for the first time! It was so exciting. We were just sitting on the couch watching a moving and we looked down and he was trying so hard to roll over. Finally it was a success! I guess we really are going to have to keep our eye on him now! I hope you all enjoy this little video. We sure did. (p.s. pause the music at the bottom and you can hear it better)
