The Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch yesterday for Josh's class party. We had a lot of fun and had fun taking some cute pictures of Jr. Although he would not look or smile at the camera, we still managed to get some cute pictures of him. He loved looking around at everything going on and absolutely loved the hay ride. He stood up and held on to the side of the trailer the entire ride and looked out at everything. It was so cute.

After the pumpkin patch we dressed Jr. up in his Halloween costume and headed over to our ward Halloween party. I was planning on getting some pictures of him in his costume, but our camera died so we were unable to. So you will all have to stay posted until Halloween to see pictures of our cute little turtle!!

Congratulations Honey!

Josh took his first set of National Chiropractic Boards about six weeks ago. We have patiently been waiting for his results and woke up bright and early to find them out. Sadly, they were not posted before I had to leave for work, but Josh called me as soon as he saw they were posted and read the good news so we could both find out together! He passed his first set and has three more to go. Way to go honey. I did not have any doubts that he would pass. He is a little smarty pants! Who would have ever guessed!! HaHa!! I love you. He is now one step closer to becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic.

We are also excited because he is now half way done with school. We are officially on the down hill slope! It seems as if we just moved out to Texas and started school and now we are half way done. I am sure the rest of the time we are here in Texas will just fly on by.

Good job honey! I am so proud of you. You are amazing. I love you!

A day at the park!

We took Jr. to the park the other day and he loved it. He enjoyed the swings and going down the slides with his dad. He loves to be outdoors. If he is ever is getting a little grouchy for no specific reason I just take him outside and go for a walk and he calms right down. I know all the pictures pretty much look the same but I just love this little man and can't get enough of him!

My Little Cutie!

Isn't he just the cutest thing. He is so handsome and looks just like his daddy. He is going to be such a little stud muffin!

My wonderful babysitter took all these cute pictures. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful babysitter who takes such good care of my little one while I am at work. Not only does she do a wonderful job watching over my little one while I am gone, but she does a wonderful job taking pictures. If any of you are in need of a photographer she does a great job. She is just getting started so all of you students out there like us she does a great job for such a good price. Check her stuff out at www.amberleighphotography.blogspot.com. Thanks Amber for everything you do for my little family. We appreciate it so much. You are the best.

Florida- Chiro Games

Josh is on the Basketball team at Parker College. Every year they participate in the Chiro-games which is like a miniature olympics. It was held in Florida this year. Chiropractic schools from all over come to compete in the different sports. They had basketball, flag football, volleyball, softball, track, swimming, and more. Since he was going to be gone for a couple days and we have not had a vacation in who knows how long, I decided I would tag along and make it a little getaway! I was pretty much the only wife that tagged along this year, but it still was fun. Josh's team did very well and won the tournament, along with his school taking home the gold for winning the overall.

The Beach!!

While in Florida we were able to spend a little time at the beach. The weather was so nice, I wish that we would have had more time to relax by the water. The water was not cold at all, but there sure were some big waves. When I finally decided not to be chicken and get in the water I was not in there too long because the waves were taking me out. It was exhausting! The boys had a fun time jumping and playing in the water.

For all of those who know my husband you know he could not pass up a chance to get in his speedo! Man, he sure did surprise all his friends when they all turned around and saw him. What would I do without my husband to keep everyone entertained?!

We left the baby home with Josh's aunt Glenna and uncle Johnny. Were were so thankful that they were so willing to watch Jr. for the weekend. It was sad to be away from the baby for four days, but at the same time it was good for the two of us to be alone and have a little break for us. We sure missed the baby, but enjoyed are time together. Thanks Johhny and Glenna for babysitting. Your the best!

Monday Night Football!

Josh decided that while we are out here that he had to at least go to one monday night football game. I agreed as long as he promised he would not spend more then his alloted amount of money I said he could:) So Josh and his uncle Johnny headed off early to the game with some steaks, pop, and money (no barbecue, utensils, tickets, nothing). They found some nice Canadians that let them join them in their tailgating party and shared their barbecue along with everything else they needed! Then they set out to find some tickets. They ended up getting really good seats (eighteenth row), for a very good price. I do not know how they do it, but Josh and Johnny are very good at negotiating with people and getting great deals. They had a great time and really enjoyed themselves. Josh was also so excited about the fact that he was on ESPN after the game. He was talking to his mom after the game and told her to turn it to ESPN to see if she could see her and she told him to start waving and sure enough there he was. It was so funny because we had the game recorded and when he got home he was so excited to show all of us!! Don't worry about the fact that it is still on our DVR and he will not erase it!!

A Few Weeks In Review

I have been so terrible about updating my blog so I am going to try and do so. Life has been so busy and crazy lately. It seems as if we are always going, going, going. My mom and Grandma were able to come visit for a week. It was so much fun as always to have them in town. They were here at the perfect time because Josh was so busy with school, studying, and tests that he was not home much so it made it very nice to actually have some people at home while josh was gone at school. They were amazing while they were here. They did all the cleaning and cooking and let me just relax. I think it was more of a vacation for me because they took such good care of us. They also cooked up a bunch of different meals and put them in the freezer so after a long day at work and school we can just put one in the oven and have a nice home cooked meal. It has been so nice and Josh is really enjoying actually getting something decent to eat for dinner!!

Of course we had to get a pedicure while they were in town. We always do!! We took the baby with us and he was so good. He also enjoyed getting his feet washed down and playing with the water. It was the cutest thing.
