Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we spent at Bev and Jerry's house.  We had a wonderful dinner, had a visit from santa, had a wonderful Christmas lesson given by Jerry, and a re-enactment of the nativity by the kids!  Josh spent a few of his hours teaching his institute class at the state prison.  What a great man I married to give up a few of his hours on Christmas Eve that he could be spending with his own family, to spend with those he teaches and knew would need some up lifting.

Rylee's first Christmas.  Poor thing was still not feeling 100% better.  Still teething, but still such a great happy baby.  Ten months old.  She is crawling everywhere.  Climbs up the stairs.  Stands and walks along things.  Says Momma and Dadda. Is the easiest going baby we have had.  She is such a little angel and has brought nothing but joy and happiness to our family.

Notice Bailey's sun tan dance tights.  Lately, these are her favorite things to wear.  She thinks they should be a part of every outfit.  I have decided whatever makes her happy.  It is not worth the battle, nor my energy to fight her on it!
My stud muffin. Seriously, look how big he is getting.
This little lady has the funniest personality I have ever seen.  She is so loving, sweet, and full of personality.
She was a little hesitant at first about Santa, but was ok because she was getting a present!
Ry Ry, on the other hand did not want anything to do with him!
Such a fun age for Santa.  He loved him.  He asked if Santa was Grandpa, and I persuaded him that it wasn't!  I do not think we will be that lucky next year!
She was so excited and waited so nice and patiently for her turn.  She is such a beauty.
Some of the cousins and their matching pajamas from Grandma and Grandpa.

J.J. got this cute little packet from school.  They were all so excited to sprinkle it outside for the reindeer.  J.J., Bailey, and Addi are all at such fun ages for Christmas.  Being a parent is so fun especially around the holidays.
The kids wanted to give Chippy a kiss before he went back to the North Pole.  Santa said it was fine and he wouldn't loose his magic.  The kids love Chippy so much.  It was so cute to see them all give him a kiss and say their goodbyes!

J.J. kept telling Josh that he was going to go on the Polar Express while everyone was sleeping.  Right after all the kids fell fast asleep the "Polar Express" or "Dad" came for J.J. and he was so exhausted he did not even budge. It was too funny.  I just love my J.J. and his creativity.
