Joshua Jr. Update

Joshua is growing up so fast. He is getting so big. He is now fifteen pounds and is so strong. He loves his new exersaucer that we got him. He is holding his head up so well and loves to push off his legs and stand in his little toy. He has started sucking on his hands all the time. He can not get enough of them. He is also drooling a lot. (Let's hope that he holds off on teething for a while longer!) He is getting a lot more vocal and it is soooo cute. I love to just sit and talk to him, and listen to him and his dad just carry on a conversation. Even if there is not one real word in it!! Just today he has really started to giggle and it is the cutest thing ever. I was actually able to get a clip of him laughing at his dad. I am so glad I was finally able to get something on video. Usually every time I pull the camera out he stops whatever he is doing!! Well I hope you enjoy the video and if this does not make you smile and laugh I do not know what will.

Happy Birthday Mom!! We hope you have a wonderful birthday you deserve it. I wish I was there to celebrate with you. Thanks so much for all you do for me and my little family. We love you so much. You are not just a great mom but you are one of my best friends, and now a wonderful grandma! I am so thankful for the relationship we have. I know if I ever need anyone to talk to or cry to you are always there to listen! I love that we talk to each other everyday on the phone and never get sick of each other and always have something to talk about. (Even if it is about nothing!) I miss your home cooked meals every sunday and just relaxing with the family. We miss you so much and you need to come visit soon. We love you! Happy Birthday!

BeNtLeY has Arrived!!!

My sister Heather and her husband Chad finally had there little girl Tuesday! She weighed in at 7 pounds four ounces and has tons of hair!! (What do you expect with Heather and Chad as parents). She is sooo adorable. It was Chad's birthday tuesday so he will share his birthday with his little girl now. He is going to be wrapped around her little finger! We are so excited for them and wish we could be there to hold that little angel and meet her in person. Now we know how everyone felt with us here in Texas having our little one:( I am dying. I can not wait to see her. The worst part about it is that I do not know when I will get a chance to go home so hopefully it is sooner then later!! Congratulations and we love you guys!

3 Year Anniversary!

For our three year anniversary we decided we would celebrate early since it fell on a Wednesday. So on Saturday Josh surprised me with a massage. I was so excited. All of those who know me know that massages are one of my most favorite things!! It was much needed (They always are, right?!) and it was so relaxing. Then that night we got in the car and he said we were going shopping and I could buy whatever I wanted! What a nice husband. We went shopping and I ended up with a few new outfits! How fun! Then we went to a very nice restaurant called Texas de Brazil. It is a Brazilian steakhouse with all varieties of different meat. We had never been there and while in Texas we are trying to check out all the restaurants that we do not have in Utah. It was very good and we left very full! It was nice to have a night alone with my husband. Thank you so much to our wonderful friends that watched Josh Jr. for us so we could enjoy a wonderful night together! Thank honey for taking such good care of me and spoiling me. I love you!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

Happy Father's Day to all you Dad's out there.



I wanted to say Happy Father's Day to my dad. I Love him so much and could not of asked for a better dad. Thanks for always supporting me in everything I have done and always being there for me. I know if I ever need anything you are always there. Thank you also for taking such good care of our family and especially mom. You two have such a good relationship and I look up to the two of you so much. I love you and wish I could be with you to enjoy this day.



Happy Father's Day honey. I am so thankful to have you in my life. I love you so much and so does little Joshy. I am so grateful that my children will have a wonderful father just like I do. It is so fun to see Joshy when you walk into the room. It is so cute to see how excited he gets and to watch his legs start kicking and his arms start flying. I can already tell he loves you so much. Thanks for being such a good father to our son.

Fun In The Sun!

After work and school we decided we needed a little break and headed to the pool. This is the second time Josh Jr. has been swimming. I think he liked it a little better this time then he did last time! He actually enjoyed sitting in his tube for a little bit even though he is not quite big enough to sit in it by himself!!

Aren't his sunglasses cute?! He actually enjoys wearing them! He doesn't even cry. If he is riding in the car with them on he usually falls asleep immediately after we put them on him.

We are enjoying the warm weather here in Texas and look forward to many more days in the sun and at the pool!

I'm all Smiles!!

The dreaded day of going back to work came and went!! I have survived two weeks of leaving my little one and hopefully I will survive until Josh is done with school. I have to say that the days prior to starting work were some of the hardest days I have had in a while. I have not been away from my little one for more then a couple hours at a time so the thought of leaving him five days a week made me so sad. Luckily for me he has been asleep every morning before I have had to leave so I have not had to see my precious angel and feel so bad leaving. Work has been going good, but I always look forward to the end of the day so I can rush home and hold Joshy in my arms. I truly love him so much and am so thankful that I am a mommy. I never imagined that being a mom would be so rewarding. I love him so much. I love to hold him in my arms and to see his smiling face. I love when he wakes up in the morning and he is just full of smiles. I love the way he smells. I love rocking him to sleep at night. I love everything about him! I am so thankful to have the opportunity to be a mother. I love you Josh Jr!
