Wilson Christmas!

We had so much fun with Jr. on his first Christmas. Can I just say he is one very loved and spoiled boy. Between both sets of grandparents, us, and santa he sure made a killing. He got lots of toys, some books, movies, and of course some christmas pajamas! He liked playing with the wrapping paper and bows and did not really understand the whole idea of unwrapping the presents!

We were lucky enough to have my whole family in town. We celebrated Christmas a couple days early because Brock and Chan had to head back to Texas early. We enjoyed my mom's cooking, opening presents, playing games and eating way to much food.

My parents neighbors had this cute little snowman so we could not pass up taking pictures of the little ones in front of it. (Don't mind my boots in the picture, they are my brothers. I did not think that I would be getting my picture taken!)

We were also fortunate enough to get the chance for Chad to take us for a helicopter ride. It was fun to get to see utah valley covered in snow. Good job Chad I didn't even get sick!

My mom and I made a quick trip up to Idaho so everyone up there could meet the baby for the first time. I especially wanted to see my great grandma Webb so she could meet Jr and we could get five generation pictures. Jr loved Grandmas dog and chased her around trying to give her kisses the entire time. although our trip to Idaho was short we enjoyed getting to visit with the family up there.

We also went tubing as a family and had a blast. I can not remember the last time I had been tubing or sledding so I was so excited. We really had a fun time and enjoyed dinner afterwards. Thanks mom and dad for everything.

We had such a good time in Utah for the holidays and enjoyed seeing everyone.

Redd Christmas

This year we were able to go home to Utah for two weeks. Josh gets three weeks off for school and my work is nice enough to let me off each year at Christmas time. Having so much time we were able to spend a week with my family and a week with Josh's family. While with Josh's family Santa came to visit. Jr. absolutely LOVED santa. He would not leave him alone. He was pulling on all his bells, and trinckets, and really liked his beard. I was glad he liked santa and was not afraid of him. Hopefully next year it will be the same way.

We also went to a ton of movies. (Thanks to Bev who was nice enough to stay home and babysit Jr.) It was so nice to actually go out with my husband and just be with each other.

We also celebrated Brooklyn's fifth birthday! Wow, she is getting big. We went to Chuck-E-Cheese's and Jr. just loved it. He loved riding on all the rides with his cousin Chase and every time we would take him off he would throw a little fit because he wanted to go on it again. Yes, we are in big trouble. He has the biggest personality and He definatley lets you know what he wants.

We enjoyed spending time with Josh's family and seeing everyone. Although we did miss Jeremy, sarah, crew, Tiah, and Justin.

ICE!

These are pictures from an ice exhibit that they put on every year in Texas. Everything you see is made of ice. It is so neat to see. They keep it at nine degrees so it is absolutely freezing in there. They give everyone parkas so that you can stay some what warm. They also tell you to keep your cameras close to you or else your batteries will freeze! Some other things that they have in there that I was not able to get pictures of because my battery died was a whole nativity scene, and an actual ice slide that you can slide down. The slide was actually funner than I thought it would be. The exhibit is quite pricy, but I think it is worth it and a fun thing to do during the holiday season. Maybe next year we will be able to bundle Jr. up enough so he can go see all the fun things!

Thanksgiving

Josh and I both had a couple of days off for Thanksgiving, so we decided to pack up and head down to Brock and Chan's! We had so much fun. The baby did pretty well on the drive. The first couple hours he did really good, but by the fifth hour he was more then ready to get out of the car.

Chan and I had never cooked a turkey or been in charge of making a Thanksgiving dinner so we were both excited to get to do it together. Thanksgiving day we made up our menu and headed off to the grocery store to get all the needed items. We made a wonderful turkey, ham with a honey glaze, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, cauliflower with velveeta cheese, pretzel jello, and for desert banana cream pie and cheese cake. Man did we have a lot of food for just the four of us. I must admit that i thought everything turned out wonderful and our wonderful husband only had good things to say about the meal.

Since we never really get a chance to relax, most of the trip was spent laying around watching t.v. and movies. We did however make it to the beach. The weather was wonderful and Josh Jr. loved his first time in the ocean. We can not wait to go down again so we can spend some more time at the beach and swimming in the ocean.

Some of the highlights of the trip:
Making a mess of Brock and Chan's spotless clean house! (Sorry Chan)
Jr. peeing on their brand new carpet! I guess he just wanted to break it in for their little one:)
Going to the beach.
Getting to see Brock's work.
Our thanksgiving dinner.
Our dinner by the ocean.

Thanks Brock and Chan for everything. We can't wait to come visit again.
